I’m Chris McGeorge, also known as Only Being Chris on Instagram and YouTube.
Creativity has always been home for me, through art, movement, writing, and making. I’m especially drawn to diamond painting, where small pieces slowly come together into something beautiful. It’s calming, a little chaotic, and grounding, and I love that it lets me support other artists by bringing their work into my space in a new way.
In April 2025, I went through a life-changing challenge that shifted everything for me. It pushed me to fully embrace my creativity as a way to heal, reflect, and move through life. Since then, art has become part of my everyday rhythm.
I create primarily with acrylic paint markers. My work is often busy and playful—filled with doodles, whimsical lines, stacked mountains, flowing waves, and sometimes a little surprise like a flamingo swimming in a pond. It doesn’t always follow a plan, but it always finds its way.
I’m a mom of three, a wife of over 25 years to my best friend, a preschool teacher, and I’m currently seeking to study art therapy. I’m passionate about helping others find healing and expression through creativity.
To me, art is about trusting the process—even when it feels messy, and remembering that something beautiful is always unfolding, one small piece at a time.
