Ciro Marchetti

Ciro Marchetti, born in Italy and raised in the UK, embarked on an artistic journey from a young age. Selected to participate in an experimental high school arts program alongside notable figures such as David Bowie and Peter Frampton, Marchetti's passion for various artistic disciplines flourished. Graduating from art college in London with a degree in illustration, he ventured into the professional world, gaining valuable experience in various design companies.

His path took an adventurous turn as he relocated to South America, co-founding what was to become the region's largest graphic design studio with a fellow alum from the same high school program. Teaming up with the international Ad agency Ogilvy and Mather, the studio thrived, prompting a move to Miami to expand into North America, where Marchetti managed a diverse portfolio of multinational clients.

After several years, and feeling the weight of corporate demands, Marchetti redirected his focus to his true passion: fantasy and mystical-themed illustrations. This pivot led him into the realm of tarot decks when a prominent publisher in that genre approached him. His debut deck, initially printed in a cautious print run of 7,000 copies, exceeded all expectations, selling over 700,000 units over the years that followed. Subsequent projects solidified Marchetti's stature as a leading figure in the field, with total deck sales surpassing 1,300,000.

In parallel to his reputation as one of the most popular contemporary tarot deck, designers, Ciro Marchetti's production of colorful detailed illustrations has been proficient over the years, and applied to over 50 jigsaw puzzles released by several top publishers worldwide. Through his creative endeavors, and distinct style in his preferred medium of digital painting, Marchetti continues to captivate audiences with his imaginative visions.
